From One Kilo to the World — A Story of Connection

Sustians-DE — our name speaks for itself. Yes, we are proud alumni of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) now living in Germany — a land of discipline, technology, sustainability, and human values.

The soil of our campus, its rain-soaked afternoons, and the friendships we built there — all these have left a lasting mark on our hearts. The bond of friendship and brotherhood that SUST has gifted us still shapes our thoughts and emotions, no matter how far we live.

To keep this bond alive and evergreen, and to strengthen our fraternity even from far away, Sustians-DE was born.

Though we now live almost 10,000 kilometers away, the stories of getting drenched in SUST’s unforgiving rain still make us smile. Sustians-DE is that virtual shelter where those who once shared the same campus soil can come together again— to share stories, to listen, and to stay connected.

It’s more than just nostalgia. It’s a platform where we can stand by one another in times of joy and sorrow, where we can share experiences, and where we can rebuild the community spirit we once lived every day. We believe this initiative will play a meaningful role in creating warmth and belonging in our often-challenging expatriate lives.
